This café specializes in comfort food that warms the soul. The menu offers a variety of tantalizing options, but don’t miss out on their scrumptious Jacket Potatoes, with fillings like Cheese (£6.20), Tuna Mayo (£8.00), or the hearty Cheese, Baked Beans & Bacon (£8.50). Another crowd favorite is their crispy Toasties, especially the Tuna Melt (£6.00) or the delightful Brie & Bacon (£6.00).

Visiting Ardingly Cafe is not just a meal; it’s an experience, as depicted by its happy customers. Hugh Brooks describes the fantastic service he received from James, whose kindness made his family’s visit unforgettable. This sense of warmth is a recurring theme in reviews, with patrons consistently praising the welcoming staff and inviting atmosphere.

Anna Green notes how popular the café is among cyclists, highlighting the generous size of their coffee and the delightful brunches, particularly mentioning the “Ardingly breakfast.” It’s clear that whether you’re fueling up for a day out or taking a break between rides, Ardingly Cafe caters to all.

Alison Bushell found herself torn by the array of choices on the menu, demonstrating just how much thought has gone into crafting a selection that satisfies diverse tastes. The limited seating, especially during busy hours — a testament to its popularity — only adds to the charm of this vibrant local hub. Roger Carl echoes this sentiment, celebrating the delicious offerings that kept him returning for more.

The genuine praise from customers like Anna Do, who wished Ardingly Cafe was her local spot, exemplifies the café's commitment to making every visitor feel special. With dishes such as their renowned French toast and pancakes leaving a lasting impression, you’ll understand why this café is so beloved.

In a world that can sometimes feel impersonal, Ardingly Cafe stands as a refreshing reminder of the power of local hospitality, authentic food, and the pure joy of a simple meal shared in good company. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by for a taste of something truly special.

I absolutely love this place! The staff are fantastic, incredibly friendly and welcoming. A young gentleman named James stood out in particular. He was so kind and thoughtful towards my family. His genuine hospitality really made our visit special. I would 100% come back and highly recommend this place to others!

A must go for me whenever I’m in the area. Cosy little cafe, food is good and fresh, and their coffee is the best in the area. Love their marmite mushroom and streaky bacon french toast. They serve very good full breakfast too

Lovely little café! Seems to be a popular stop for cyclists, and the food and drinks were great (coffees were a large size!) The 'Ardingly' breakfast was a perfect size for brunch

Absolutely fantastic little cafe. I think I changed my mind looking at the menu at least three times. So much choice. Interesting menu and it would be hard not to cater for your needs. I had pre booked the table as it's a small cafe and wouldn't recommend sitting by the door. It really needs a screen or something at that table. However everything else was just perfect.

We ate there three times and the food was delicious. Full English breakfasts were classics. French toast, pancakes and avacado mash were also very good with large portions. Owner and servers were very nice. Seating a little limited during the rush times.
